A Massage Therapy diploma shows you how to lessen muscle tension and diminish pain.
Spencerian College's Massage Therapy diploma offers you a rigorous program that provides initial training in preparation to pass exams for state licensure. You will also be prepared to operate a personal massage therapy practice or to be employed as a therapist in various settings. You will have the benefit of participating in a required externship, where you will perform massages on the public at a massage therapy business location in the community. Our sites include athletic teams, hospitals and spa/salons. While many massage therapists are employed in clinics or salons, you may enjoy the freedom of being self-employed. Massage therapists working in spas and salons are able to help a wider range of clients after studying medical massage techniques. Our program can be completed in 9 months for those in our day classes, or in 15 months for students in our evening classes.
The Massage Therapy diploma program is approved by the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Massage Therapy. Spencerian College is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association Council of Schools.
You will be taught by experienced instructors who are active in the field. Plus, an externship experience will expose you to potential employers. You will receive excellent preparation for license and certification exams.
Spencerian College's Massage Therapy diploma program is accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA).
